Those times when the chips are down and we don't know how to move forward, sometimes the only thing we can do is hold on to hope and reach for something... Alex Speller is back with his drums and guitar work, and for the first time on my solo work, I asked Alex to play some acoustic guitar in the chorus to elevate and open it up. He did a wonderful job. I am proud to release this brand new EP for summer 2023 as my new artist name Fanko. This EP was two and a half years of hard work, discovering my true sound as a singer/songwriter and honing my craft as a producer, mixer and mastering engineer.

I am proud to release this brand new EP for summer 2023 as my new artist name Fanko. This EP was two and a half years of hard work, discovering my true sound as a singer/songwriter and honing my craft as a producer, mixer and mastering engineer.
Along the way, I formed a friendship and musical partnership with Alex Speller, who plays drums on the first four tracks and guitar on tracks 1,2 and 4. Alex's sound helped define the aesthetic of this EP and I thank Alex for his talent and help pushing this work across the line.
I would also like to thank Rob Harris (Jamiroquai) for playing guitar on two of my songs two years ago (one of which is track 3 on this EP). This gave me the belief in myself as an artist and inspired me to go back to the drawing board and be the best I can be in all aspects of creating music.
This EP is the first of four that can be streamed or purchased individually and an album will be released with all four combined, hopefully also on physical media!
